E-Tabs Premieres Automated Charting for Microsoft Office 2007

E-Tabs, the acknowledged leader in chart and report automation solutions to the global market research industry has launched a version of its award-winning, flagship automation product, Enterprise, that automates graphs and charts within the Office 2007 suite.

Unlike previous versions of Microsoft Office, Office 2007 uses a complex XML-based system for its own file format, while at the same time integrating Excel-based charts as its standard charting engine. This, explains Richard Teller, Development Director at E-Tabs, posed significant difficulties for traditional automation methods -

"Microsoft's new 2007 format is a whole new experience and the slick interface and improved charting - while great for enhancing presentations - does not natively lend itself to being automated.
