Welcome to the Q2 edition of the E-Tabs Newsletter.
As we fast approach the halfway mark for 2009 it seems somewhat suitable to assess how far we have come and what E-Tabs looks to achieve in the coming months.
From the expansion of E-Tabs across different departments, the release of a new and improved version of Enterprise in April and the imminent release of Verify, E-Tabs continues to focus on providing clients with indispensible solutions.
The talent of our Sales and Business Development Director seems limitless as he recently brought home two sporting trophies from recent conferences.
As the new editor of the E-Tabs newsletter I sincerely hope you find it both useful and enjoyable.

Beat the crunch by automating
Is it a coincidence that the majority of the top 20 Global Market Research Firms are automating their reports? With seven of the top ten research companies already using E-Tabs report automation software, the implication is that maybe automation does do what it says on the tin - delivers greater efficiencies and lower costs. Despite the impact of the recession, demand for automation software and user numbers continues to increase. To meet this demand E-Tabs have expanded their Development, Sales and Marketing Departments in order to continue providing clients with industry leading services and solutions
E-Tabs are proud to announce the following appointments.
Paul Williams joins E-Tabs as Sales and Business Development Director.
With 20 years of experience in the Market Research Industry Paul’s expertise lies in the automation of manual processes and the implementation of new technologies in traditional research.
Chuck Bende joins the E-Tabs Sales Team as VP in the US.
Having held senior positions for over 30 years spanning Market research, Trade Research and Marketing systems, Chuck has worked in companies such as Information Tools, SPSS and Information Resources (IRI) where he joined as Manager of their Business Systems Solutions and was later promoted to Vice President of Client Services.
Bill Billington joins Development.
Bill will be focusing on the innovation of existing products and on further software developments. He completed a Masters in Computer Science at The Queen Marys University in London.
Sam Waugh joins Marketing Department.
Sam joins E-Tabs as a marketing assistant. She will be involved in putting together newsletters, press releases and events. Sam has an Honours degree in Media and Communication.

LATEST SOFTWARE NEWS
Enterprise keeps developing...
E-Tabs have added several major features to the latest release of Enterprise. The development team released a major upgrade in April. The upgrade and new capabilities will allow for
- Faster File Access and Reporting - a project which previously took over 10 hours to run was completed in 12 minutes with the upgraded Enterprise.
- Increased Performance - further improvements have been made to performance when generating masses of reports in a single run.
- More Flexibility - enhanced conditional formatting including multiple fonts and font attributes in PowerPoint textboxes and tables and ability to perform slide modelling in Excel.
- Improved Functionality - 37 new features have been added including enhanced workgroup use and project backups.
We trust users will find the upgraded Enterprise even better to work with.
Verify goes Beta
The eagerly awaited arrival of Verify (previously PerFect) is almost upon us. Verify - our revolutionary table checking solution, entered a beta-testing phase last week and is scheduled for release later this year.
