MAGIC OF E-TABS AUTOMATE’07 SHINES THROUGH WITH THE INCREDIBLE OZ PEARLMAN.
E-Tabs hosted Automate ’07 - our 8th and most exciting conference to date - in New York City last month. Researchers from across the USA and Canada (and UK!) gathered to learn the latest in automation technology, with a series of presentations from E-Tabs users; both supplier and client side, and workshops from the E-Tabs team.
Highlights included:
- A range of client presentations including TalentMap, TNS, ADP, Mindwave and IPSOS.
- Hands-on Workshops
- New software updates and launches
- A dazzling performance by Oz Pearlman, world renowned magician
- iPhone prize draw – congratulations to Dave Sherman!
A special thank you to all who contributed. Your topical presentations and personal insight helped make this event a tremendous success.

NEW RECRUITS AND STILL RECRUITING!

LATEST SOFTWARE NEWS
1. The new E-Tabs Writer We’ve made significant improvements to the E-Tabs Writer. We now support direct imports from Excel, Quantum, SNAP, Wincross, SPSS, Dimensions (Desktop Reporter, mrTables, mrStudio), TabsML+, CfMC-Mentor, Uncle, PulsarWeb and Askia, all neatly packaged in a slick, new interface. If you’re a Writer user and would like to get your hands on this version, please email support@e-tabs.com
2. AutoGraph’s big brother is born!
An exciting new version of E-Tabs AutoGraph has been launched – this includes:
- Batch project running
- Conditional formatting
- Major new data positioning/matching capabilities
- Exporting projects created in AutoGraph to E-Tabs Enterprise
- Ideal for simpler projects and custom studies

3. Full support for SPSS Dimensions
Our full range of software can now accept .MTD files from Dimensions - extending its native reporting and formatting capabilities:
- Import your tables and reformat and paginate them for printing in E-Tabs Reader
- Use Dimensions output in Enterprise and AutoGraph for more flexible charting/reporting
4. E-Tabs Enterprise
Recent enhancements implemented in Enterprise v3.2:
- Enterprise Login Server functionality – a new way of authenticating users, eliminating the need for software dongles and allowing true remote working
- Improved Microsoft Office 2007 compatibility
- Extension to global table functionality
- More powerful run-time capabilities
- Full support for embedded chart objects within Word-based templates
- Significant speed improvements

OFFICES: EXPANSION AND NEW LOCATIONS
We've recently doubled our UK office facilities in order to accommodate staff growth and expansion. This includes dedicated client training suites and even a staff gymnasium! We look forward to welcoming you (bring your gym kit!)
Our Illinois office has recently moved and expanded too! Our new home in Batavia includes a dedicated training suite and great views of Fox River.
Looking further ahead - E-Tabs will opening offices in Los Angeles and Melbourne, Australia.
